I have been using these old edges created from vintage children's magazines and text fragments on so many of my layouts that I finally decided to package them up for the store.
Here's just a few of the layouts I've used them on as a finishing touch:
I used them on this layout too, which uses the Posy kit that is also coming to The Lilypad today:
Also new are some big torn paper templates:
And Arte Banale has put them all together in one absolutely beautiful page:
But check out the gallery at The Lilypad to see an amazing array of more delightful pages using the new supplies. So it's clear that I love shabby chic, artsy digiscrapping. But a lot of my scrapping is also the equally satisfying creation of photobooks of travels - our own travels but also trips taken by my parents, who send me the photos on their return. I used this week's Sharpshooter template album to create a book of their trip to Singapore.
It was great fun and came together incredibly quickly and easily.
Here's what a double page spread looks like:
I also used it to scrap the photos I took when I happened across the spectators for the annual "Rugby Sevens" tournament downtown one day. Fortunately I had my camera with me - and fortunately they were all more than happy to ham it up when they saw me taking pics.
And look at these stunning pages by Tronesia:
