Get a headstart on your seasonal scrapping

(By Marnel)

Hard as it is to believe, December is right around the corner. For me, that means lots of family fun, school events and Christmas parades to document. You may not have finished your holiday planning and shopping, but you can get a head start on being prepared to document your December with the BRAND NEW seasonal designs on sale at The Lilypad this weekend. Everything in the "Fa La La, Document your December" section from all the different Lilypad designers co-ordinates together - and there are four new products (plus an extra-value bundle) from me. The Frostell Kit is packed full of papers and elements:

And there are Frostell Journal Cards for the pocket scrappers too:

Plus a Frostell template album with its own unique elements. You can scrap your way through December with this one (and then carry on using it throughout the next year by adding other elements!)

If you are tempted by a couple of these, the best value is the bundle of Kit, Cards and templates. Even if you are not a pocket scrapper, the cards are great for tucking behind photos, clipping to one or two of the smaller photo spots in the templates or even clipping to paper spaces or the chevrons and partially erasing. While the 30% sale is on, this means you get it all for HALF the normal retail price of buying the individual products ...

And there's more! ;-) The St Nick layered transfers can be altered to fit the colors of any layout - or you can use the 'drag and drop' versions that co-ordinate with all the Fa La La goodies in an explosion of painty, glittery, seasonal fun

And it's all 30% off

Some of our Decembers are pretty sunny!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Christmas can be hard to scrapbook and it can be overwhelming, so using a co-ordinated stash of goodies and templates makes it fun and quick. And sometimes the photos can be difficult too. For one year, mine were particularly dire. Everyone was in clashing clothes, I had just got a decent digital camera but wasn't any good at taking decent indoor shots - and some people just weren't in the Christmas spirit.* They needed to be scrapbooked, and I just wasn't feeling it.But then I decided to convert most of the pics to black and white and then use blend modes (overlay mode in particular) to layer the paint transfer from the Frostell kit over them. And I ended up loving the page (and, most importantly, having fun scrapping them!) * I mean, seriously take a look at my nephew's face in that bottom left pic ...

Looking for more seasonal inspiration? The gallery at The Lilypad will be bursting with it ...
